DESCRIPTION: * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of Utah, including the following areas, Castle Country, San Rafael Swell, Capitol Reef National Park and Vicinity and Western Canyonlands. * WHEN...Until 9 PM MDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of slot canyons, normally dry washes, and creeks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Monsoon moisture will continue to bring an elevated threat of flash flooding to the San Rafael Swell, western Canyonlands area, Capitol Reef National Park and Castle Country. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Cumulus clouds are fluffy and textured with rounded tops, and
may have flat bottoms. The border of a cumulus cloud
is clearly defined, and can have the appearance of cotton or cauliflower.
Cumulus clouds form at low altitudes (rarely above 2 km) but can grow very tall,
becoming cumulus congestus and possibly the even taller cumulonimbus clouds.
When cumulus clouds become taller, they have a greater chance of producing precipitation.
